Hardened steel nozzle for A10M/A20M? Anyone tried them?

Post by Jdbye » Thu Jun 20, 2019 8:31 pm

I'm looking to grab some hardened steel nozzles for my A20M, and I'm wondering if anyone's found one that works well with the A10M/A20M.
I found these, that look like they would fit: https://www.amazon.com/PrimaCreator-PC- ... op?ie=UTF8
But one of the reviews complained about excessive stringing (might be user error though)
Anyone tried these, or got any recommendations for other ones?

Hi, The nozzle type of A20M is m7 thread, It is not the standard MK10 4mm inner diameter nozzle. You need to check it at first. The default inner diameter should be 2mm.

It says it is M7 threaded, though I'm not sure what MK10 means.

I am also looking for different size nozzle (0.6) and stronger one, to print abrasive filament, unfortunatly I did not find any for now...

Also, I am wondering what would be the problem of using a 4mm inner diameter rather than 2mm ?

Hi, the A20M uses M7 nozzle with a precision of 0.4mm.

The issue is that Geetech use their own threads. I tried ordering various MK10 (M7 size) nozzles for my A10M and they all have a different thread rake on them, and/or different internal diameter. Geeetech were very clever at only selling you THEIR nozzles. Too clever, as I will not be buying Geeetech anything in the future as this is a dirty money making trick.
