A20M Marlin 2.0

Hello I have recently gotten a A20M and so far it is ok. But I had a issue with a firmware thing and now after restart the LCD is just blue. I have tried to do the firmware upgrade from the Geeetech site but when you download the file it only give a .hex file but the program looks for a .bin file. When I use the .hex file it says invalide file but it is the one for the A20M. As of now I cannot use the printer. Thank you very much. I treid upgradting to marlin 2.0 and I am assuming the LCD is wrong or something. I don't know what to do but I know it is one of the I should have left well enough alone moments.
