change color not clean !

Post by ericdu62 » Sun Sep 01, 2019 1:13 pm

hello, I call for your help under cura.
I installed the profiles downloaded on this forum, but when I try to print in two colors, the color change is not clear and sometimes it's even gradient.
I changed the volumes for the tower but I do not really see the difference.
could someone tell me his values about extruders and help me because I admit to being a bit lost my few years on printers with a single extrude.
thanks in advance. (I am French)

I have the exact same problem. Even with a large prime tower in Cura the colors are bleeding. If I print white and green, it is very difficult to get a clear white, it always looks greenish.
The main problem I see is with Cura, the prime tower is not clever. In my view each layer in the prime tower should be one color only, i.e. the color that the printer should do next if there is a colorchange on the layer. But on many layers I get both colors, which means that the old color is not sufficiently purged.

hello, following the purge tower which is shamefully filament filth, I wanted to test under cura the purge basin, but apparently cura does not want to take it into account!
I deactivated the primary tower, but it still goes to its location
(test performed without filament to avoid unnecessary consumption filament detector well on desactive).
I join you the Gcode, I can not anymore!

right and left is the same Gcode

Franchement, je n'arrive à rien sur cette imprimante avec Cura, je suis passé sur Simplify3D avec le micrologiciel 2.0 de vert et ça marche super bien.

As-tu testé Simplify3D ?

Try my A10M profile. There is method without cleaning tower but with hotend cleaner built. Works fine.
A10M Slic3r profile: here and fresh on github (lot of tips here)
A10 Slic3r profile: here
TIP: tight all screws and wheels (except right side of Z axis) and re-align frame while assembly. And silence it.
