Solved my layer shifting problem by repacing both the X- and Y axes stepper motors with S42B closed-loop stepper motors (and installed a smoother on both axes while I was at it). Never seen any shifted layer anymore. Cheers! I ordered some s42b V2 but when I installed them my machine started freaki...

Yeah seriously, how did you adjust those settings? I can see them on the screen but I haven't figured out how to change them at all.

Good news bad news. I guess I have an older board cause my driver's are replaceable. Bad news is I can't get it to function with s42b V2. Turns on, I calibrate it, reset it as instructed and then I go to move the hot end around using the controller and the touchscreen becomes completely unresponsive...

It's not just you having this problem! Checked vref, belt tension, loose pulley's... Still happening.

I order some s42b closed loop drivers to hopefully correct the issue.

I'm a noob with the same exact issue. Can you share how exactly you did this?

I adjusted the VREF of all 5 motor drivers to 1.18vdc
