OK, you have two problems here. First one is that the X-Axis is probably not sitting level. This means the one of the slide blocks (probably the one on the right) is too low, making the linear bearings jam on the rails. Just had exactly this. At the midpoint of the Z-Axis travel, the tension of the X-Axis belt bends the Z-Axis rods inwards by a couple of mm. At the extremities, the z-Axis slides jam.
