Re: BLocked extruder
My extruder is not clogged byt my printer is not printing anything! If I suspend the print, rise the nozzle and manually force extrusion, it works fine, tons of PLA come out... But as soon as printing restart, nothing comes out from the nozzle, even lowering a little the printing plate, just in case...

Design flaw or assembly error?
I cannot understand the reason of this design decision: https://i.imgur.com/McYNroR.png Those "special nuts" (don't know english name) are specifically designed to be easily tightened and loosened by hand without any tool, just by bare hands... but they must be freely accessible to do that! Instead,...

Re: Insufficient extruder speed have big impact to print quality
I noticed tha, using default optiopns, objects sliced with Cura are printed with much less plastic than the ones sliced with Slic3r. This results in horizontal walls printed with Cura to be very thin and even with holes! But Slic3r uses even too much plastic, I had to reduce the flow to 80% (even 70...

I think your threaded rods are not straight.... just like mines. I had to get them replaced with new ones to solve this issue. You can check if they're straight, without removing them, by looking at how much they wobble inside the holes at the top pf the printer... if the holes are larger than the r...

Why did my supply unit fail?
I successfully printed dozens of pieces for an entire day without any issue; then I switched off the printer. Next day I switched on the printer... but nothing happened. Printer is dead. If I connect it to PC via USB, display turns on, but motors are not powered. A quick check revealed that power su...

Terrible sound coming from left Z motor
I don't know if the 2 things are related, but since I switched from Cura to Slic3r, my printer started making a terrible noise right before starting printing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2V9b6LuQ5A If you look colsely, you can see the motor slightly turning clockwise. It LOOKS like if it's stuc...
