Re: Suddenly layer shifts... But only on Y...
Printing speed reference range: 30-60mm / s. I also decreased the print speeds to 45 and movement speed to 60 (from 60 and 100) Printing the same item as before now still gives layer shift - but only in Y direction, so it is definitely bed related - after about 1cm in height.. So that is within spe...

Suddenly layer shifts... But only on Y...
I've printed many things on my (stock) A10M, and most of the prints worked just fine, until 3-4 days ago, I had a weird incident... My BLTouch sensor was deployed and blinking, and caught on the item that had been printed... I had to reset the sensor and re-home the printer to get everything aligned...

Re: TL smoother add-on
For voltage settings. First check temperature of stepper motors after a hour of printing. If you can hold tight stepper stator by your hand for more than 10 seconds, they are cold. Remember these feelings and do settings. Note that every 0,1V above (in this case only) will gain 20% of power and hea...

Re: TL smoother add-on
You measure across the groundpin (top right) and the potmeter... PS: You can use any groundpoint on the system (for instance the USB port outer casing) for GND. And if you use a metal tipped #1 Philips screwdriver (be careful not to create shorts!) you can even measure the voltage as you turn the p...

Re: TL smoother add-on
Thanks... I assume these are the drivers mounted on the mainboard in the noisy box? (Just received my A10M yesterday. Already like it better than my A8, but it takes time to fine tune and work out kinks. Already retensioned the belts because they were pretty loose, but I still have layer shift, even...

Re: TL smoother add-on
Is there a description of how to adjust driver board voltage if layer shifts keep happening?
