Okay, it works in a mechanism that switches the power supply to the fans.
VDC means main power supply and VIN means fan power supply.
;)

Thanks for the replies Hi, You can check if there are three lights on the motherboard when you turn on the printer normally, but if the motherboard is damaged, it is recommended to replace the motherboard. I shorted and smoked part of my GT2560 A+ board, is it still safe to use?

I made a mistake earlier when wiring a fan to the board, and shorted the two terminals. A component on my controlboard flared up and is now ash. The component is the one below the jumpers (JP2), and I think it was a transistor. The fan terminal I shorted still supplies power. My question is; is the ...
