Re: Y motor failure after 3 weeks?
Thanks for the reply. Try this one. https://photos.app.goo.gl/2TaRXnEFirHhqREE9
The bed moves freely, but the Y motor whines a little. Don't know if that's normal though. With the power on it doesn't. here's that video:

Y motor failure after 3 weeks?
Could someone tell me what's going on with my Y motor? It grinds when moving, won't find home properly, and just goes back and forth instead of all the way forward or backward. Just started doing it out the blue, after 3 weeks out of the box. Only printed about 10 things. The track seems clear, ever...

Re: Return extruder to "home" or rest after abort
Thanks. I'll look for this. Didn't see it before As for the leveling, apparently I didn't notice the dried filament on the head after printing, so I was constantly leveling to that. Need is fine and status of as far as I can tell. Prints seen to come it good (with my limited experience) printed the ...

Re: Return extruder to "home" or rest after abort
I thank you for that info (I have been doing that already), but I was actually talking about when centering of the extruder on the bed. It does not center, all projects are started left and forward of center, because my A10 starts off not being centered. When you press auto home, it comes to the for...

Re: Return extruder to "home" or rest after abort
Awesome! Thanks. Wish there was a shortcut to that. What about the bed not being correctly spaced when leveling corners? Starting at the front left, it's right on the corner, front right it's about 15mm from the right side, back right it's 15 from right side and almost 20 from back, left back its ri...

Re: Second attempt at A10 fan cover failed
Thanks for your help. I actually learned a lot today, that being my second print ever. I actually had no idea what "supports" were, and stared looking everywhere for answers, and found out I had to enable them in Cura. I've watched a lot of videos today and printed another version perfect. https://p...

Second attempt at A10 fan cover failed
I'm trying to print a fan cover I was advised is good to have. I tried this one first and came up with this: https://ookqug.dm.files.1drv.com/y4mY1pKfDsSvoYYCE2ifrHCqJgb5pyk5ZwZuGibvqKR8oAozIMp7paSdHVkXKkj6L5MNM208GgdB4H6XnC_-geABY1slmR6AFhM8T5TfmzXpItFUq6t3vCwsrbf5BcdAtrzSDl2c_kk3P9rAqias3IZzTuDX-r...

Return extruder to "home" or rest after abort
How do you do this other than turning off the printer and manually moving bar, extruder, and bed, which I hate doing fearing I'll screw something up. I had to cancel a print, but there's no "return home" option in settings, and the extruder just stayed where it stoped, making it difficult for me to ...

Re: Attaching the super plate to new printer
Got it figured out, the comments on this site selling the super plate says to use the clips. I couldn't put them in the corners for obvious reasons (leveling), and I was worried the head would run over them when going corner to corner, but it raises enough to clear them. William also PM'd me to excl...
