How do I change filament of the NOT active Extruder?

I simply cannot get the "left" extruder to unload and reload new filament. I added a roll of filament when I got the printer and now I want to change it but I can't. I can't from the device panel and I can't from G-codes. I can change the Right Extruder only - that's not a problem - but the left one...

Re: Making a squeaking/squealing noise where to Oil?

Thanks - I will give it a try. I actually think that it could come from the extruder because it disappeared when I printed from the other extruder.

Making a squeaking/squealing noise where to Oil?

My printer has started to make this annoying squeaking/squealing noise when it prints in circles - but I cannot figure out where it comes from. I have found this incident but I cannot fine the FAQ site where the oiling point is mentioned - can anyone help? Maybe with some pictures. http://geeetech.c...

Re: Suddenly poor print quality

Well I think I have solved it - fiddling around with my slicer gave a new and better result. Very nice print:

Re: Suddenly poor print quality

Thank you for your suggestion - it is highly appreciated.

But as my printer has only one nozzle but two extruders (I think it is called) and I made some good prints afterwards with my other filament (a more flat project) so I think it could be a slicer setting issue.

Re: Suddenly poor print quality

Thank you for your reply - I think I will try that out. I actually tried to print with my second material (color) and that came out without blobs so it is somehow related to my white color printing and yes it could be the speed.

Suddenly poor print quality

I bet this could be a Slicer issue more than a printer issue. But I don't know where to start looking. From having the most incredible prints done by my Geeetech A20M I suddenly get very ugly blobs on my projects. I have lately upgraded to Cura 4.2.1 - and I can't say if it started before. I think a...

Re: No printing after auto-leveling

Cool I will take a look at it. I have just made major z-offset adjustments from -2.60 to 1.60 somehow the z-offset trick with moving z down to 0.00 to check if leveled correct but each time I needed to adjust even more than the subtraction of the difference of z at optimal placement and z = 0.00 - t...

No printing after auto-leveling

After having some issues with my BL touch auto leveling I have reattached the 3d touch sensor but now my printer starts the auto leveling and when finish with the leveling process I can see the file getting processed but the printer doesn't move and afterwards it returns to first position and change...
