Re: A10M upgrade to 2 extruder 2 nozzle setup
Considering the construction of the A10M, if an additional Hotend is installed it will most likely need a tuning mechanism to calibrate it up and down. The A10M has only one motor on the Z axis and the other side ist relying on the wheels alone to keep it up, so there could happen some misalignment ...

Re: Extrusion Problems
The plastic arms seem to die when one tightens the spring too much. One of my feeders (on a new A10M) also had the problem, so i installed two aluminium feeders. While these don't have the extrusion problem, they do not have the turn ratio of the original feeders. But they have to do for a month or ...

Re: A10M Levelling problems
I had a likewise problem: with the Firmware that came pre-installed, all corners could be leveled but still when starting to print, the distance between nozzle and bed wasn't right anymore. With a 1.19 firmware came more options for manual bed level adjustment. That made my printer work fine! Except...

Re: 3D touch and BL Touch Harness
In the 3D Touch Sensor there is a magnet over the pin, connected with some heatshrink tube. The heatshrink tube extends a bit over the magnet, but when it is too short (which was the case with my sensor) the pin is often not released. When it is too long, the pin falls down too easily. I fixed my se...

Re: A10M not working
Try disconnecting all stepping motors, if that does not help disconnect the stepping motor drivers. On some devices it also happened that a fuse blows because of a defective stepping motor driver. Check if the mainboard has a fuse. Sometimes fuses are soldered on. With a multimeter such a fuse can b...

Re: A10M upgrade to 2 extruder 2 nozzle setup
The A10M is an awesome tinkering machine. Which is totally expectable for this price range. Mine did not manage to print the first layer at all until i updated the firmware to a 1.1.9 version that had a manual fine tuning feature for bed leveling, and i had to change the extruder feeders 'cause the ...

Re: Marlin 1.1.9 firmware for A10M (pre-built, fine-tuned, both with & without 3d touch) by aarli
This firmware works great. Without the 3DTouch Sensor, this version was the difference between "yay, it prints nice!" and "gaah, it all sticks to the nozzle again..." just because of the manual fine tuning ability that was not there with the old firmware. Printing the demo files from SD was simply n...

Re: Geeetech A10m with BLTouch Auto Home issue
Had a related issue after i got the 3DTouch to work. At first my sensor pin would not deploy at all and constantly showed error blinking. It turned out that the little magnet in there was not covered by the heat shrink tubing so it was permanently stuck to the top screw. However, manually attaching ...
