E-step Decimals?

On the touch screen is there a way to change the decimal value on Steps/mm? I can only enter whole numbers.

Help! I Think Something Blew!

I just got my brand new A30 Pro put together and was following the video on how to install the 3DTouch 3.2. I plugged in the Brown/Red/Orange wire just like the video with brown on top and I heard something sizzle and pop. I'm not sure where it came from, but there was no smoke and no smell I could ...

The nozzle will be above the hotbed. Now, you estimate or measure the distance to the hotbed and put this value as negative value into the Z-Offset.
I tried this, but if I change the Z-Offset in the LCD panel it only goes down to 0.5. It won't let me go into negative numbers.

Re: 3DTouch Z Offset Not Changing In LCD Menu

Why don't you use the display. Worked perfect here. I'm using the instructions recommended by Geeetech, which uses both Gcodes and the display to calibrate. They worked perfectly for me when I first installed the 3DTouch 6 months ago. The only thing I've changed since then is the hotend, which has ...

Re: 3DTouch Z Offset Not Changing In LCD Menu

Hi, if your changes need to be submitted to the EEPROM or configuration.h file to make them permanent. To save to EEPROM, use: M500 Every time I do that, Repetier says, "Settings Stored." Then it uses the old settings anyway. I've downloaded and replaced the firmware three times now. I even tried o...

3DTouch Z Offset Not Changing In LCD Menu

I am unable to calibrate my Z-axis Every time I enter Gcode G1 Z0 it pushes the nozzle into the glass. And the when I enter M851 Zxxx, the Z offset on the LCD display is still the old one from before I swapped out hotends. I can't change it even though EEPROM is enabled. This is a new hotend with a ...

Re: Homing Problem

I found the problem. For some reason, my EEPROM settings had the Homing Offset WAYYYY off. I corrected for that and now the nozzle is perfectly centered. BUT... Now I can't calibrate my Z-axis. Every time I enter Gcode G1 Z0 it pushes the nozzle into the glass. And the Z offset on the LCD display is...

Re: Homing Problem

No, I've been looking online for a solution. Everything leads me to solutions to the nozzle height problem, or something else. I've found nothing related to my specific issue.

Homing Problem

I recently installed my 3DTouch and it seems to work well. All the self tests work perfectly. However, when I press home on Repetier, it goes like this: X-axis - OK Y-axis - OK Z-axis - flies past center, straight to back-right of bed and grinds the belt The image shows about where it starts grindin...

Re: Z Axis Stopped Working After 3DTouch Installed

I think I found the problem. I was initially focused on possible loose connections to the stepper motors and kept going in circles because nothing looked out of place. But then I noticed that the 2-wires that connect to the Z-MIN plug were loose. They were making intermittent connection with the pin...
