Re: A10 - GT2560 V3 (!) - no PWM - 24V steady full power

GT2560_V3_Measure.png Try to measure after the picture i made (see attachment). 1.Disconnect the extruder cable. You can also disconnect the little red pcb with motor driver (like on the picture). Turn on the GT2560 and measure from Pin 9 to 6 of EXT2 (Do NOT take 5 instead of 9 because its more da...

Re: A10 - GT2560 V3 (!) - no PWM - 24V steady full power

Hi realfox81, Maybe we are from the same age, and same country :D Be aware about the screenshot you posted above. GND in the picture is wrong, it is the output of a MOSFET (for example Q2) and depending on the PWM signal it can become a voltage like GND. The "Plus" is VCC (24V) all the time. When th...

Re: A10 Part Fan

Maybe it is a hardware problem like i had:
http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 98&t=62117

Hard to find, i had some unclean soldering at the extruder pcb.

Re: Still PWM Fan problems on GT2560 V3.0?

Because there came no solution from geeetech i went on measuring the wiring from GT2560 to the extruder PCB board. I found a short circuit on the CON2X6 connector (Pin 3 and 5) of the extruder PCB board, caused by a unclean solder joint (solder leftovers) at the CON2X6 connector  . I disassemb...

Re: Still PWM Fan problems on GT2560 V3.0?

I am in contact with geetech. They suggest a replacement board which did not arrived yet. As i went on printing without the H6 connector i also bought a 3DTouch sensor. When i connect the black/white cable to the extruder pcb board, my fan problems came back again :( . H6 is still disconnected from ...

Re: short-circuited my fan on GT2560 V3.0

Hi, sorry there was not so much time in the past to look into this forum. Maybe it can help with buying an alternative MOSFET: To solve my fan problems i already tried to change the MOSFET Q2 (but that wasn´t my problem :? ). Because the original AP2306AGN is difficult to buy i took a IRLML6344TRPBF...

Re: Still PWM Fan problems on GT2560 V3.0?

Problem nearly solved: I changed the Q2 from AP2306AGN to a new one (IRLML6344TRPBF) without success. Fan is still running on 100%. I measured all cables from GT2560board to the hot end incl. the Geeetech extruder Extension Board. I found a short circuit from the left "air blower" connector of the e...

Re: GT 2560 V3.0

I am not from Geeetech, but when you look into the GT2560 V3.0 schematic you can see the LED is directly connected to VDC and the drain of a MOSFET Q3. VDC (24V) is comming over the J1 connector and therefore from the powersupply. When you suck more than 10A from it the fuse F1 will burn. The MOSFET...

Re: Still PWM Fan problems on GT2560 V3.0?

Made some more measurements on the board. PWM-Output is working. Transistor Input (Q2) is 0V at Fan=0 and 5V at Fan=255 (and of course ~3V in the middle position). But the fan voltage stays 24V all the time. So Q2 seems to be damaged. Will come back when i got a spare part.

Re: Still PWM Fan problems on GT2560 V3.0?

By the way: Is it possible that there is a mistake in the GT2560 V3.0 schematic, "Fan Connectors" section? Parts like Q5, R15, R20 are all belonging to E0 in the schematic, on my board they are placed in the E2 area.
