Re: Can't Identify MoBo.... help? Speculation encouraged

No one can tell me what this is and I can't get it to work reliably... time for the trash heap and upgrade to the BigTreeTech SKR 1.4.

Can't Identify MoBo.... help? Speculation encouraged

By looking at this motherboard, which version is it? I can't find anything like it documented anywhere. I received it as a replacement ordered from Amazon. The product page showed one that looked exactly like the one I was replacing with the same corresponding version number. I was sent something co...

Re: Can someone tell me what motherboard I have??

I can see what my board says it is. My question is why does it look so different from my original? It looks more like a 3.1 despite saying its a 3.0. Many of the components on the board are different, and shouldn't that affect functionality? That's why it would be useful to see a pinout/schematic fo...

Can someone tell me what motherboard I have??

I bought this MoBo on Amazon to replace my burnt out original GT2560v3-0 that came in my A10M I'd purchased back in Jan2019. At the time I received it I knew it looked a bit odd but I figured that's just how they were now. Now I see there is a GT2560v3-1 out on the market that has many similar featu...

Re: Issue Updating Firmware

Hi alex-w I worked it out late last night My issue was I didn't have a SD card in the side of the printer when flashing the firmware Wait what? I don't understand how you fixed this problem. Mine is currently doing the same thing after making the new firmware in Visual Code then uploading the .hex ...

Re: TMC2208 Vref - Geared vs Ungeared Feeders

Update: i have since upgraded to using a set of bondtech (clones) and am no longer seeing the heat problems. I'm guessing that was all happening because the Geeetech MK8 extruders i was using were aluminum and that was readily transferring heat where the plastic casing on the originals and bondtech ...

Re: TMC2208 Vref - Geared vs Ungeared Feeders

A passive cooling solution sounds ideal, bt for the time being i went with an active one. Its not pretty by any means, but without changiung the vref, i set up a normal tabletop fan and pointed it towards the extruder motor and that has seemed to fix the problem for now. vert- it seemed like somethi...

TMC2208 Vref - Geared vs Ungeared Feeders

Hi, I am using a pair of Geeetech MK8 Extruder Aluminum feeders ( https://www.geeetech.com/mk8-extruder-aluminum-feeder-kit-for-175mm-filament-p-995.html ) on my a10m but the stepper motor is getting very hot - almost too hot to touch. I have TMC2208 stepper drivers with their vref set to a widely r...
