Re: BLTouch sensor not very reliable
Hi, I checked the results from bed levelling and found a 1 Millimeter difference from one corner to the other. When I manually checked the distance with a 50µm feeler gauge I could see that my bed was perfectly levelled. This means the BL-Touch sensor is causing a good levelling to be extremly bad c...

Re: BLTouch sensor not very reliable
Hi William, The sensor has worked for several weeks and now I am getting problems with the accuracy of the z-probe. I will run the suggested GCode on the terminal to see the results but I am pretty sure that the sensor is giving different home signals over time which will corrupt the bed levelling c...

BLTouch sensor not very reliable
Hi, I upgraded my i3 Alu to a (Geeetech) BLTouch sensor system in February. All printouts have been nice since that time. A few days ago suddenly the trouble started. Some parts did not stick to the plate anymore and print failed several times. Yesterday I watched the display during the bed levellin...

Re: GT 2560 V3 - what connector for Extruder pin / heat bed
OK - thanks,
I guess I found the correct counterpart meanwhile:
https://www.molex.com/molex/products/da ... USINGS.xml
It is from the Molex Nanofit series.
Best regards
Onki

Re: GT 2560 V3 - what connector for Extruder pin / heat bed
Hi, The GTM32 as well as the little 2560 brother are using a black 12 pin connector at the extruder ports which is soldered to the mainboard. gtm32_connector.jpg If I want to use this board in a different printer I need the counterpart of this connector to be able to properly connect the extruder (i...

Re: 24V heat bed for my I3 Alu
Hi again, I managed to insulate the heat bed with a foam pad and now 110°C are no problem at all. But still ABS does not properly stick on my glass bed. PETG works good like PLA. Is there a slightly satined glass bed availabe. I don't need the glossy surface on my parts so this kind of glass might b...

Re: GT 2560 V3 - what connector for Extruder pin / heat bed
Hi William, Of course the wiring must match. I will do the cable by myself. Therefore I need to know the connector type (Molex, JST, etc.) of this one so that I can try to get it somewhere. But at the moment my focus is more on the GTM32 board because of the 32bit µC. But this board seems to use the...

GT 2560 V3 - what connector for Extruder pin / heat bed
Hi, The GT2560 V3 sounds like a nice controller board for my new printer project. It is still just a 2560 but it will be fine to start with. What connector types do I need for the 12 pin Extruder connector and the 6 pin hesat bed ceonnector? Is the V3 TMC2310 compatible without board layout modifica...

Re: 24V heat bed for my I3 Alu
Hi, I am currently using white ABS Filament from Verbatim. This does not stick to the clean glass plate at all. Levelling is OK as PLA is working nicely without changing something on the printer. I bought an insulation pad to be placed under the heat bed in order to handle 100 to 110°C as this is re...

24V heat bed for my I3 Alu
Hi, I am currently using the original 12V heat bed with my i3 Alu. The problem is that I cannot reach temperatures higher than 105°C which is critical when I want to print ABS. Is there a 24V version available to replace the original one. Since I am using the GT2560 board 24V supply is not a problem...
