After a couple of hours working with Geeetech customer service, we got the issue resolved, as I needed to use a different firmware than what I was trying to flash the printer with. Thank you all for your suggestions though.

I have tried doing exactly what is on that page, and it didn't work, as the mainboard would work but the LCD would time out.

Hello, Just recently my A30 came in, and it was working OK (Autoleveling sensor wasn't working in firmware, but could print.).
