A10M No Retraction Issue

Hello, I'm having an issue with my A10M not retracting on one of the filaments. Have not checked if both are having the same issue, but I do recall the other retracting previously. Using the menu to control the motion also fails to retract. I can run it forward as much as I want, but it will not run...

Re: A10M DEAD!

I had issues with my A10M right out of the box. Checked all connections, everything seemed good, but the bed was shorting out. I had metal clips on the corners of the bed, which had scraped through the bottom layer of the bed and were making contact with the coils. Check to see if these clips are st...

Re: A10M Firmware?

That did the trick!!! Thank you so much! Now I have a working printer, and I'm running a test print as we speak. Looks like the original firmware will do for now, and I'll be looking forward to seeing what you do with the new firmware, once its been tested and is working. Thank you again so much for...

Here ya go. https://github.com/harlyh/Prusa_I3_3Dprinter/tree/Geeetech-A10M-Marlin-1.1.9-with-3D-Touch/A10M_marlin1.1.9/Configuration%20and%20hex%20file/no%203d%20touch Please note that this hasn't been properly tested. But the same firmware on my regular A10 printer works fine. I was actually goin...

Oh, I get what you're saying. I haven't compiled the non 3d touch version of it yet. Give me 10 minutes :)
Fantastic, thank you so much! Which version of Arduino is needed? I have 1.8.5 or 1.8.7. Or would it be best to use Xloader?

A10M Firmware?

Hello, In my efforts yesterday to figure our what was wrong with my A10M (bed was shorting, has been fixed) I flashed the firmware. It looks like I had a bad copy of the firmware, as now it is not reading the gcode correctly. I found and flashed it with firmware for the A10, and now it reads right, ...

Re: A10M Short When Bed Heating Begins

Figured it out! The clips holding the print surface to the heat bed, metal clips , had scratched the backing off of the bottom of the heat bed when they were put on, exposing the copper underneath. The clips themselves were contacting multiple points along the outer coil, and were creating the short...

Re: A10M Short When Bed Heating Begins

Hello. ;) In this case, check how the connection to the heat bed is configured. It is probably configured for 12V DC. :? That's how I think by the way. This type of power supply should be protected against overloads. The power supply should switch off and counteract this situation. Th...
