thanks for replying. i set the nozzle diameter at 0.3 mm and the layer height at 0.35 for the first layer then 0.3 for the rest. i haven't collaborated the esteps and i don't know how to.

Hi my printer was working fine for a few weeks when recently it stopped extruding any filament and I have disassembled the extruder and found that the plastic tube inside the nozzle had become clogged I removed the clogged filament and re assembled the extruder and it worked for the first few layers...

thanks for the reply i have added some washers and it has resolved the problem thank you. i think that my 3d printer is just temperamental.

hi the problem has come back again. the filament seems to work fine if i push the filament into the extruder but if i let it do it on its own it just doesn't extrude. does anyone have any suggestions

hi i have managed to fix my problem by using some glue on the heat bed and by slowing the print down. thank you for helping me fix it.

hi this problem affects all layers and i have slowed the first layer speed down and it has increased the print quality for the first 5 layers but when it starts on the infill it doesn't extrude properly.

i have had good prints from my printer for a few weeks when yesterday the first layer wasn't extruding properly and was stringy in some places but wasn't in others. i have re-leveled the bed and tried different filaments but it is still the same result. any tips on how to fix it?
