Hi,
I had the same problem, it seem the solenoid isn't strong enough to hold the pin during shaking os the head. You can try to adjust the top screw in the sensor, but it didn't help me.
I bought the original BL Touch sensor. With the same cabling, this sensor doesn't drop the pin.
Goodluck.
Joris

Re: 3D Touch Sensor:Auto-levelling for Geeetech 3D printer
Hi Willem, It seems there are 2 ways to connect black-white wires of the 3D/BL Touch sensor: 1. Z-MIN: You have to use the folowing entries in the firmware (1.1.7 or higher) #define Z_MIN_PROBE_USES_Z_MIN_ENDSTOP_PIN #define Z_SAFE_HOMING 2. Z-MAX You have to use the folowing entries in the firmware...

Re: What type of connector for the fan?
Yes I know,
I bought a fan, but it has a MOLEX connector, which is way to big to fit the small connector in the GT2560 board.
I need to replace this connector with the right one, but which is the right one?
kind regards,
Joris Weijters

Re: GT2560 extruder stopped working Q4 smoked
Hi William,
As in my other post,
There was a short circuit at fan 3 between the + and the - .This I think blew Q4?
I removed Q4 and I removed the 7812, and now use the jumper to pass the 12V power to the fans
Kind regards,
Joris Weijters

Hi William,
I found the problem. There was an short circuit between the + and the - of fan3!

I insert the jumper, now my fans work
I removed Q4 and the 7812
I still don't know what Q4 is needed for.
Kind regards,

Re: Geeetech i3 Prusa Pro B fans don't work
Hi,
I measured the output of the 7812, ther is no power at the output.
There is 12Volt at the input of the 7812.
This normaly means, it's defective, or there is a short circuit behind this 7812.
What is behind the the 7812? Other than the Fans?
Kind regards,
Joris Weijters

Hi Wiliam,
I thought from the schematic Q5 is only for the PWM Fan
not for the 12volt fans.
Kind regards
Joris

Hi,
Is there an updated schematic for the new boards? Including Q4?
Kind regards

Hi William,
I do have a 12 volt per supply. I tried to put in a jumper. I got a small flash and blown a fuse. Is it possible the 7812 is defect as well?
