Re: GT2560 extension board melted
yes, I figured it was something similar, but can't say I had disconnected the hotbed from extension board more than once since I built it. I had disconnected the ribbon cable frequently and hope there inst a cracked join there... something else to check I guess. I hope they do get in touch soon and ...

Re: GT2560 extension board melted
I sent three message to Geeetech's customer support and haven't heard a word in response, nor follow up here. Even a simple "sorry, we don't cover that under the warranty" would have been nice, as I certainly asked the question enough. Anyway, I have ordered a new main board, a new molex mini-fit jr...

Re: GT2560 extension board melted
Anyone ever get an answer to to this. I messaged geeetech twice last week and haven't heard. I too had a similar melting that occurred at the extension board hot bed junction... but also saw some slight burning at the powercable into the main board. Covered by warantee or not is another question, bu...

Large layer shifting problems
The problem that is plaguing me from the beginning is LARGE layer shifts. Like 1-3 cm layer shifts after a 1 cm or so up in Z. I've lucked out and gotten some really nice big prints of it... but then... I go and deal with a relatively simple but large print and have like 6 failures in a row.. .each ...

Re: I3 A Pro - Moving extruder (calibration) reboots device
How about the default fw?Have you try to upload it and test it? Yeah, I had first built the machine about 4 months back, and had gotten the marlin file titled "PI3A Pro(for the upgraded kit using lead screw)" from the forum at that point and uploaded successfully. The box reboot had a been a proble...

Re: I3 A Pro - Moving extruder (calibration) reboots device
I know it's been awhile since you posted, but you were not alone in this. This is one of several problems I have encountered, and determined for me it was related to just dialing the extruder, but related to moving the dial quickly in ANY setting, for example moving the Y axis too quickly, or adjust...
