Anyone printing TPU or flexible PLA with the i3 (any of them)?
I've had a real love/hate relationship with my i3 Pro A. Just fired it back up again after I had put it into the naughty corner for 2 years. I swapped the useless aluminium build plate for a glass one (notched the corners so it would fit on the heating pad and still allow access to the height screws...

i3 Pro A nozzle
I'm having great difficulty with printing on my i3 Pro A, so I've decided to change out the nozzle. I am assuming it's a 0.4mm M6 nozzle, and that it needs PTFE tubing with an 0.4mm OD and 0.2mm ID. How far does the PTFE tubing go? Does it go all the way as far as possible at the end of the nozzle, ...

i3 Pro A extra fan - PWM or FAN 1?
Hi, in an effort to help with adhesion/curling of my PLA prints, I have printed a bracket for the print bed/nozzle and sourced a 12V 40mm fan, so that I can provide cooling to the bed/nozzle area. My question is, should I hook this up to FAN 1 (printhead fan is already on FAN0) or to the PWM socket?...

Re: Firmware for geeetech 3D printers
Done. I went back to Arduino 1.0.1, manually copied in the library to the program folder and it worked.
About time you guys consider upgrading though, what do you think? Having to use an old version of Arduino is a pain.

Re: Firmware for geeetech 3D printers
Thanks William.
I ended up uninstalling Arduino and running with the very old 1.01 version, copied the u8glib library in manually and it worked. Thanks.
Hopefully we can look forward to a firmware version that supports the newer versions of Arduino soon...

Re: Common issues :wrong motor direction,Endstop hit...
Interesting, I also have a similar issue. When I click the X home button in Repetier, the printhead moves to the home position and keeps hammering at it. I have to do an emergency stop - it's as if it's trying to go past the endstop. If left unattended, it'll eventually stop after about 10-15 second...
