Thanks for confirming, I'll be upping the vRef to 4.6 or higher.
I found out when M2006 is excutes (for feedrate) it commits the changes to memory.
If you can get me the other information is would be appreciated.

Re: E180 Under Extruding?
Can you let me know were the datasheets are? Did you also get that motor information? all my A4988's are purple. With adjusting per the recommendations could this have damaged anything? When I adjust the Steps/mm I get skipping here and there when the vRef is stock 0.46v (I'm going to turn this down...

Re: E180 Under Extruding?
Hi William, Just a little background, I noticed the heat-sink wasn't attached properly on the A4988 (from factory), so I glued it back on with some Thermal Glue and wanted to confirm it wasn't a overheating issues when the vRef was at a higher voltage per your recommendations. I wanted to check the ...

Re: E180 Under Extruding?
My default is 70? I haven't been able to commit the changes yet.
Also, to be able to change the Stepper setting I need to execute M2004 E "Number". Can you tell me the command to commit to memory?

Re: How to change the steps/mm
Thanks, the new version fixed this, however it isn't committing the changes when I click "set".

Re: E180 Under Extruding?
I think you might need to provide a little more info? I have done a search on SScom and it appears to be a debugger tool. I have however executed M2002 using pronterface and it outputs what I'm looking for. Is there any documentation on using M2002? I want to know what I'm executing and "E * \ R \ N...

Re: E180 Under Extruding?
Hi William, The stock voltage I have on the E2_A1 was 0.46v and when I increased the voltage it made no difference to the extrusion length, it does appear to have increased the speed, but not the steps/mm. Additionally, when I increased the voltage to 0.93v the motor started to make a tick sound and...

Re: E180 Under Extruding?
Hi Willam, Is it possible to ask your admins to install a plugin such as "image upload" on your phpBB deployment? I cracked open the bottom and noticed the Z_A1, Y_A1, X_A1 clustered together. The E2_A1 is separate and I assume needs tweaking. I am disappointed that this isn't a function via firmwar...

Re: SD card doesn't function anymore
I've checked my supplied 1GB SD card and it's formatted in FAT, bear in mind that FAT only supports partition sizes up to 4GB. I've also tested an 8GB SD card formatted in FAT32 and that works. I was intending to create a partition size of 4GB to test for you, but considering it works at 8GB with FA...
