Its the connector next to fan 3 on the gt2560 and is marked PWM on the board, but mine doesn't work either, probably has to be enabled in the firmware but haven't got to round to investigating yet

Yes you are right. But its power is only 1.32W. So I think it's not necessary to do that when not printing. Prusa I3 up and running. All motors checked and running when connected, except Z axis right hand motor runs in opposite direction to left hand - even when swapped round.
