Re: Has my Control board died?
I ordered a new board from you, but I can't connect to it using the Arduino software. I keep getting the following message: avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout avrdude: stk500v2_getsync(): timeout communicating with programmer avrdude: stk500v2_ReceiveMessage(): timeout avrdude: stk500v2_Rec...

Re: Has my Control board died?
The file you sent a link to before is a .exe file which the Arduino software couldn't read. Pronterface won't work because nothing has changed. I attach a photo of the printer

Re: Has my Control board died?
The link you provided is for the Arduino software which I already have, but I need the firmware for the Arduino program to open. I loaded the Marlin firmware and this is what seemed to kill the printer. I attach a pic of the control board.

Re: Has my Control board died?
I downloaded the firmware from the Geeetech website, but maybe the wrong one. I'm not sure which i3 I have since I got it from someone else. I think it's a Pro version, a bit like the M201, but maybe an older version.
I need the software for a Mac.

Re: Has my Control board died?
I've swapped the connection from the Z axis to the extruder board, and it didn't work. I then moved the extruder board to the Z position and it still didn't work

Re: Has my Control board died?
Although the extruder was working fine, I can't get a meter reading from any of the boards including the extruder board. Does anyone have a clue what's going on - I'm completely ignorant about electronics.

Has my Control board died?
I'm still trying to get to grips with a Geeetech Prusa i3. I was using Pronterface and Slic3r reasonably well, although print quality was a bit rough. So I decided to try out Repetier instead. I then tried uploading Repetier firmware, which simply didn't work. I then re-uploaded the original Marlin ...
