Alternate controller board for M201 Printer
Can I substitute a RAMPS 1.4 controller board for the GTM 32 board that is supplied with the i3 M201 printer? If so, is the RAMPS 1.4 board the only substitution needed or do I need the Mega 2560 R3 board as well? Where would I get the firmware to make the RAMPS 1.4 board work with the M201 printer?

Re: Hotbed quit heating i201 printer
It's the same voltage but different controller so it doesn't work. Ended up getting a new controller board.

Re: Get money from testing assembled 3D printer Mecreator 2!
I would love to test the printer. I do printing of parts for an engineering company and the variety of shapes should be a very good test of the printer.

control board installation
The installation instructions for the M201 control board have changed and do not show original control board any longer. Can someone point me to the wiring of the control board that was in the original building instructions less than 3 weeks ago?

Hotbed quit heating i201 printer
My hotbed quit in the middle of a ABS print. The green connector the power wires are connected to was partially melted and the board is putting out no voltage to that connector when heat bed is suppose to be heating. Moved thermistor to nozzle position and it works ok to start the heating, so I have...

Re: incomplete print
I installed the latest firmware which initially made the problem worse, so I re-installed it. The printer ran very smoothly and I thought the problem had been taken care of until about 6.4 hours into the print, when it stalled in one place long enough to leave a glob and then started up again and wh...

incomplete print
On a 7+ hour print job, the printer just stops anywhere from 4 hours to 6.5 hours into the print. It just stops, stays where it is in the print, depositing a glob of material, then starts up again sometime later. The gcode keeps sending so when the print resumes the nozzel either knocks over the pri...

When you change the direction of the X, save it to memory and the setting will stay.

Re: M201 Extruder Nozzel
The problem was in the build, not getting the tubes fully seated in the hot end, so the filament melted just enough to plug things up. Fixed this by taking everything apart and putting the tubes to where they were at the proper location and them putting everything back together, not letting them mov...

M201 Extruder Nozzel
Nothing will flow through my extruder nozzel. I have cleaned the tubes and taken the nozzel apart and cleaned out what I can. Is there a solvent I can use to dissolve whatever is blocking the flow? Where can I buy another extruder nozzel?
