Re: Delta printer spider not level

Hi I am fairly sure it is because the arms are different lengths. I was very disappointed with the quality of the parts in the kit, I had to modify several of the parts to make them fit. The arms in particular .....I tried to correct this by crimping the 5 of the aluminum rods to make them as long a...

Re: 2mm Z axis offset

Hi Nope. I am unable to get z to be zero when it is on the bed of the printer. Somewhere there is a piece of code that says it is 2mm above the plate when it is actually touching it. When I run Code 1 it goes nicely right to the plate, but z reads 2mm on the top bar. When I try to print it tries to ...

Re: 2mm Z axis offset

Thanks for reply After homing the printer I jog it down to the bed, in the repetier host, the coordinants read x0x y0 z2. If I look on the lcd screen under movement z offset reads -2mm I have overcome the problem by changing the height of the print area to 2mm less, but I would like to make the offs...

2mm Z axis offset

Hi Geeetechers
I have Delta Rostock something or other and for some reason I have a Z axis offset of 2mm which has been dogging my efforts at a first print. I don't know how it got there or how to change it. I presume it is in the firmware some where. Please help
Thanks
