Using marlin from github

Hi!

I've got a GT2560 and I need a feature that is available in the latest marlin from github, but not marlin pro B provided by geeetech.
Has anyone tested Arduino 1.0.1, latest release from github, and perhaps "stealing" configuration.h from geetech firmware for i3 pro b.
