Try using z offset in slicer to lower 0.1 mm at a time .... or adjust your z offset for ABL and recompile.

G2S Optical Endstop and Cable Management
After using this printer for a few days, I converted to optical endstop switch, which involved pulling plastic housing for Zmin connector and soldering a pin in the hole for V+, then using 3 pin cable to switch (along with modified mount for switch, and removing spring on trigger lever). Now works m...

Re: GT2560 Optical Limit Switch for ABL
Today I soldered a pin on the 5v pad next to the 2 Zmin pins (would be great if they put a 3 pin connector here as the circuit board is made for it. I took off the plastic connector which lift 3 pins in a row,gr:signal:+5v, and then used a 3 pin limit switch cable I had to connect to the short cable...

Re: ABS Adhesion and Corner Lifting
I too have had problems getting ABS to stick ... especially toward end of job. I am using hair spray on borosilicate glass. Have also tried ABS slurry. For first part of the print (first few mm's), height of nozzle during printing first layer is super critical, much more so than with PLA. it must be...

Re: GT2560 Optical Limit Switch for ABL
Thanks ... I was hoping to avoid soldering ... and guess I can solder on a pin. Likely will try separate 5v supply until I seem if limit switch input will work with the optical switches I got on Amazon ...

Re: Auto level not doing it's job. Bumping into print/too cl
I am having some similar problems with ABL. Seems sometimes it does work and sometimes not. I plan to try to use an optical limit switch and reduce spring tension to a minimum as I notice that triggering the limit switch does seem to alter the position of the hot end tip at times and on some rare oc...

Pin burns out
On my G2S I too have had problem with pin burning out on heat bed connection. Maybe it gets slightly loose and arcs? Or is it switching too often, wrong size for amperage, or poor quality connector. I replaced the plug in part with the screw terminals and it is working again (I just happened to have...

GT2560 Optical Limit Switch for ABL
On the GT2560 used with G2s pro, what is best way to wire in an optical limit switch to detect the bed during auto bed leveling?
