Re: Printing with flexible TPE

I have the same issue. Did you find a solution?
I think the teflon part where the filament goes in needs to be super close to the motor and roller so it wont bend.

Re: How do you level the dual extruders & bed, i3 PRO C

My steps are similar to yours snowman but yours seems to over think the problem in my opinion. :) Below assumes you have auto bed leveling (if you dont have it you shuld get it) and printed yourself a dual head extruder gauge tool (like this http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:299331). Just make sure y...

Re: How do you level the dual extruders & bed, i3 PRO C

Hi Pekote, Thanks for the reply. Glad you found a quick way around the issue as my method takes a bit of time to complete but fixes the problem permanently. Also find that half the fun of the 3d printer is making it better with 3d printed parts. So least my way I can take it all apart and put back n...

Re: How do you level the dual extruders & bed, i3 PRO C

Before you get them level in relation to the bed you need to get them exactly level from the mounting block to the tip of the extruder. Even a little out the second extruder will either hit the print or be to high for quality printing. Once i had it modded with the grub screw I then printed one of t...

Re: functionally configured i3 c dual extruder anyone?

Also the biggest issue you will have is aligning both of the extruders.

I have a permanent solution at http://www.geeetech.com/forum/viewtopic ... 5&start=10

Re: How do you level the dual extruders & bed, i3 PRO C

If you look at the blue mark in attached picture this is where i recommend a bolt on each side if you have double extruders.

This makes sure that the 2 parts of the extruder say square where you put them.

Re: How do you level the dual extruders & bed, i3 PRO C

Only thing i have noticed is where you would normally bolt the 2 extruder parts together with the extruder tip bolt it works better if you drill a small hole and use a small bolt and nut to secure therese as it keeps the whole lot together much better. This is not just with this mod but with the des...

Re: functionally configured i3 c dual extruder anyone?

The Z is a mechanical change you need to do and the other is firmware i think. All of the Stops are what tell the software the home position. So if the bed (Y axis) is at 50 but the software thinks it's at 20 when you home it this will now be it's 0 point. So if the Y has a total of 200 it will then...

Re: How do you level the dual extruders & bed, i3 PRO C

Since getting my Geeetech Prusa i3 PRO C dual extruder 3D printer about a month ago no matter how many times I pulled the extruder apart and tried to get both extruder's the same hight, I couldn't. Not saying I'm not happy with the printer or Geeetech. As both have been great. The printer wasn't too...
