I'm new to all of this and messed up. I have a Prusa i3 X with a GT2560 + 4 A4988. When I powered up my printer the first time and tried to calibrate it using the firmware already installed, the x and y motors both appeared backwards and the z didn't do anything. The instructions for Repetier Host for Mac show a "Manual Control" tab, but on my copy there is not a manual control, that tab is labeled "Print Panel." The screen it opens is not the same. I found out how to turn on and control the temperature for the extruder and build bed, but there are no arrows...

Hi, I have completed my build and have powered up. Fans are running and LED is lit with message "Pi3 Pro X ready." I am finding the instructions confusing (sorry) for downloading software needed to run the printer. So far I have downloaded the FTDIUSBSerialDriver_v2_3, Repetier-Host Mac and Arduino....

This is what the instructions say: "There are two cables, one is for LCD encoder, the other is for SD card, do not connect them reversed." I had the same question... so the ribbons are the same, but they are not for two separate functions? I went ahead and just plugged them in as Mark said they are ...
