Re: Blocks on LCD, Firmware apparently not uploading correct
Haven't been able to upload firmware. Still have two rows of blocks. Had this thing for months, sitting here, mocking me. I can get the Arduino to successfully upload firmware, and i've had several people send me the same firmware, so I'm assuming it's correct. However, no joy. Blocks are still here...

Re: Blocks on LCD, Firmware apparently not uploading correct
And now, a new wrinkle. This is getting tiring. Everytime I start Arduino IDE and import the libraries, when I verify, everything goes fine. When I try to upload, every time, it comes back with an error saying that com8 is in use by another program. I've disabled, rebooted and enabled com port 8. No...

Re: Blocks on LCD, Firmware apparently not uploading correct
Well, I'm about to list this thing on Craigslist, and buy something else. Weeks of sitting watching it sit immobile is wearing me down. I thought I'd be printing by now. I've tried the upload so many times, I could probably do it blindfolded. I may try that, can't do any worse. Now, I'm getting an e...

In "Configuration.h", the code is already as indicated in your post.

Re: Blocks on LCD, Firmware apparently not uploading correct
Ok, getting no where, but making excellent time! I'm going to list, as best I can, the steps I'm taking, so that someone can hopefully show me the error of my ways. Because, it's not workin Printer attached via USB, powered on. Arduino IDE started (this isn't "installed" in my PC, it's just executab...

Re: Blocks on LCD, Firmware apparently not uploading correct
Thank you for the link. I downloaded the firmware. I opened Arduino 1.01 and dragged the contents of the zipfile you gave me to Arduino. It successfully verified. I then pressed the upload button, and it, again, went through the motions. After a minute or two the LCD came back to the two rows of blo...

Blocks on LCD, Firmware apparently not uploading correctly?
Two rows of blocks across the screen. Reset button doesn't appear to have ANY effect. When Repetier is running, it connects. However, pressing any of the x/y/z buttons results in the carriage moving down towards the bed. It doesn't stop. The only methods i've found that work are Emergency Stop, and ...
