Re: GT2560 Extruder has stopped working
Hi mate,
No nothing wrong that I can see. Boars seems fine, now funny spells and mossfets are still fine too. i've tested the two fuses and they are still ok as well.
any thing else I can try

GT2560 Extruder has stopped working
G'day. I finally got my GT2560 going about two weeks ago, it's been working fine up until yesterday when the Extruded stopped feeding and does not respond to anything at all. I've set the min temp for extruding down to 10 for testing and still nothing. So now I have swapped over to my spare Sanguino...

Re: overheating issues
Hi mate,
I've replaced the mosfet today and all seems to be working EXPECT the hotbed. So the controller board must have more damage than what I had hoped.
Any advice on how to fix the hotbed?
thanks

Re: overheating issues
Mate, again thanks for the help.
One more question:
Is there a better controller board I can buy to replace the RepRap Sanguinololu Rev 1.3a board
thanks

Re: overheating issues
Good stuff, I can replace the mosfet, that should be easy and will order a new hot bed. I'll push then for a replacement controller board as well as it was caused by the hot bed.
thanks you for your help.

Re: overheating issues
Did just that. all seems to be working fine and moving fine with the hotbed disconnected. How do we go about to fix the Mosfet and the resistance?

Re: overheating issues
Did some more digging and it seems that there is a bug in the board. If you run the usb as well as 12 main power the mosfet can overheat as is the case here.
Are you aware of this?
