More than one was smoking. I tried plugging it in again after you said that to check, but I couldn't tell.Which capacitor is smoking?

The Mightyboard is receiving 24V from a new Makerbot Replicator 1 official power supply. I just checked it with the voltmeter again. the two positive legs are getting +24 over the two ground legs.

I just plugged my new Jameco power supply into the Mightyboard and immediately got smoking capacitors. I think I plugged everything in correctly, as the two +24V wires were going into the + side and the two - wires were going to the - side.

Hi, I have the original power supply for the Makerbot. It has a four pin connector. My Mightyboard has only two slots. On the underside there is what looks like a transistor or a diode. If I replace the two pin female connector with a four pin female connector, will it break because of the diode? Or...
