Re: GT2560 and 5V servo
The reason it's on Pin 13 is because the board is basically a remixed form factor of the Ultimaker board. If you compare the schematics of the GT2560 to a Ultimaker board it's pretty much pin for pin the same, At least on the older boards with only 2 pin end stops. From my understanding is that Pin ...

Re: GT2560 Power socket failure.
The issue comes down to the MOSFETS failing and causing excess current being drawn through a power socket that isn't made to handle it. My suggestion to all who own a GT2560 is to immediately replace the the stock MOSFETs with some IRLB8743PBF and to remove the power socket and direct solder 16awg-1...

Re: GT2560 Power socket failure.
you can also get them from on-line distributors like digikey or search ebay, I got mine from a local guy in the US off of ebay. just look for LF05, LF07, LF15, or any that are Littelfuse 1808 SMD in the amp rating you want, Typically controller side is a 5-7 amp and the mosfet/heater side is 15 amp.

Re: GT2560 Power socket failure.
It's not the mods, they have been on there for over a year and have caused no issue or could even draw that much current. No looking at the board again and having a day to think about it and knowing about the bad mosfet. the mosfet for the heatbed failed and caused the heatbed to be on all the time ...

Re: GT2560 Power socket failure.
The only mods I did was add a Bluetooth module for wireless serial communication (the 4 red wires) and a servo line for auto level (the red, Black, Yellow). Those have been there for a while and weren't the cause. I put a new plug set on and In testing every thing was fine till i started up the heat...

GT2560 Power socket failure.
So I was printing when I started to smell some thing burning and came across this lovely mess pictured below. Doing a quick search I found 2 others posting about the same issue in the same plug and pin. I'm curious if any one know what is causing this failure and how to prevent it from happening aga...

Re: GT2560 and 5V servo
No, I've been too busy to dive into the code and test things and see what is needed for it to work. I really haven't touched my printer since changing the head carriage for the auto level mod and wiring the servo up. Not sure when I'll get the chance to do so either, all I can say it look into Ultim...

Re: GT2560 and 5V servo
There is no easy way to wire a servo up to this board since you have to directly solder onto it, I've done it on mine (though still need to test) and the hardest part is the signal wire. As you can see in the photo below the Ground and 5v supply is easy enough, the hard part is the signal wire eithe...
