Re: Problems with motors
I had this problem for a long time, until I realized that the endstops and axis motor drives must correspond to each other. In other words the x endstop turns off the x axis motor. If the correspondence is not there then one or more motors will keep running even when they hit an endstop. I checked r...

You will need to adjust the potentiometer which is the silver colored, screw with a cross in it. It is labeled with a +. You will need a voltmeter.

Re: First time to start.
I got my WiFi module through the Indiegogo special. I have 2 Geeetech printers, an I3b and a Rostock 301. I am also using the Apple IOS app with both an IPad and iPhone. The results are always the same. 1. I created an account and was able to bind the module per instructions. 2. I can get WiFi worki...

Re: Problems with motors
I’m glad to do it. These are things that I wished I had when I build my first printer 4 years ago.

Re: Problems with motors
One more lesson learned is to make sure that the endstops correspond to the proper drive motor. For example the x-endstop should correspond to the x drive motor. On the 301 this is tricky since the board connections for both motors and endstops are single connectors that have all 3 axes in one conne...

Re: Problems with motors
I have an update. The motor drive voltages on my board were all 0.6 V. At that voltage, one of my drives was skipping. I increased the voltages to 0.7V on all drives, including the extruder motors. On the drive that was skipping, I moved the voltage to 0.8 V. This solved all of my problems. The axis...

Problems with motors
I just built my 301 and after checking all connections and voltages, I am having trouble with the axis and extruder motors. This occurs regardless of which software I use, EasyPrint3D or Repetier. I have the latest firmware. The problems are: 1. When I request a single step motion, the motors keep m...

Re: Auto bed leveling wiring
A couple of questions about auto-leveling modification. 1. With the Sanguinololu board, can I just replace the z end stop switch with the capacitive probe and use this both for z end stop and auto leveling? 2. In implementing autuleveling in firmware, is there a guide to how to do it? 3. If I want t...

Re: Auto bed leveling wiring
Post by zhangxueyou » 01 Jun 2015 06:55 I am sorry to tell you that Geeetech has not use auto bed leveling for i3, so I can't tell you how to connect it. Z-MIN slot is used to connected z endstop. I bought both capacitive and inductive probes that are used for auto leveling and have a holder than c...
