Have you refresh the firmware for your new board?

if you are using this geeetech Mk8 extruder, http://www.geeetech.com/assembled-mk8-extruder-p-857.html?zenid=qb548a7006hv7sibkdgd5b87i6 you may find it difficult to get the felament right to the barrel, with this filament guide,it will be much easier. he tested the 2mm version with filaflex, it work...
