SO you offered to send me a "atmega 16u2" welded to myself then that is what a Mega2560 you proposed to send me? if another Mega2560 I agree but I know the 3d printer but I'm not equipped to weld a atmega16u2 safely. I do not see why I should pay half of something I received unusable.

Should I contact the service after sale to request an exchange of mega 2560?
